Our solution

Frequency-Specific Engineering. Not Noise Reduction.

We didn't set out to eliminate vibration — a numb racquet is unacceptable at any level of competitive play. Our goal with ShockSorb was more precise: preserve the vibrations that give you feel and control, and filter out the frequencies linked to joint discomfort and muscle fatigue.

ShockSorb® uses Sorbothane®, a visco-elastic polymer that behaves like both a liquid and a solid under stress. When vibration hits it, it deforms to absorb and distribute energy in all directions rather than reflecting it back into your hand.
Two years of R&D and over 200 material iterations identified the middle frequency zone that is mechanically clean for human biology, preserving racquet feel while filtering the frequencies linked to arm injury.

The Injury

Tennis Elbow

Every ball impact transfers 500–1,000g of vibration force up the racket handle. Without adequate dampening, this energy loads the lateral epicondyle tendon repeatedly, causing micro-tears and chronic inflammation.

Sorbothane®

Most cushioning materials only change how an impact feels, not how much of it actually reaches your body. Sorbothane works differently: its visco-elastic structure absorbs the impact energy itself — whether it's vibration travelling up a racket into your arm, or shock travelling up your leg with every heel strike — and converts it to heat instead of passing it through.
